Fees and appointments
For individuals, the fee is £55 for a 50 minute session
Sessions are weekly, and usually on the same day and at the same time each week.
Initial session
The initial session is an opportunity to explore your reasons for coming to counselling, to clarify your hopes and expectations, and for you to ask any questions you may have. It is also a chance for us all to assess whether we feel we're suited to working together, and there is no obligation to meet again. If the decision is not to work together, then I am happy to refer you on to another therapist if you wish.
Confidentiality
Everything we discuss is treated in the strictest confidence by me and I will not break our confidentiality agreement except where you give consent for me to share information, or if I have concerns about your safety, or the safety of a third party. In this case, I may be under a legal or moral duty to inform the authorities.
All therapists discuss their clients with a supervisor, as a professional requirement, and supervision is designed to protect your interests and to assist me in my professional development. Your full names will not be given to my supervisor.
